Das Barrierenerkennungssystem von eNav
Considering mobility of wheelchair users, barriers are of utmost importance. Steps are already an unpassable obstacle and can lead to long detours. To reduce the number of detours occur-ring, barriers should be known to navigation systems, like eNav. In this paper a concept is intro-duced, which deals with the missing barriers, by locating these using a crowdsourcing strategy. A background service of the navigation app additionally tries to detect barriers by analyzing the driving behavior of the wheelchair user. Finally, the desired behavior of the barrier detection system is veri-fied with an evaluation.
